Description from food designer

Award winning British gin from beautiful agroforestry.

A traditional organic London Dry Gin hand distilled in beautiful copper stills in the heart of rural Oxfordshire, inspired by the botanicals and flora found on Helen's organic farm on the heritage Ridgeway. The Elderflower, Pear, Seabuckthorn, and Rosemary are all grown here on the farm in our pioneering climate resistant agroforestry. The first smell is delicate floral aromas of wild flower meadows and orchards. On tasting, herbaceous and herbal notes, wild berries, and fresh honey. Great for sipping neat on or off the rocks, or combining with your favourite mixer. 2023 Winners of: Silver Medal - WGA, Bronze Medal - LSC & IWSC, Great Taste Award, Best new organic drink at Natural & Organic Innovation Awards.

Additional information from food designer

Helen’s story is simple and compelling - an ongoing exploration into ways to farm that are as good as they possibly can be for people, farm animals and nature. Organic, of course, and constantly challenging how we can evolve our systems to do even more to stabilise the climate, feed everyone healthily and restore an abundance of wildlife to our countryside. In 2016 Helen planted thousands of trees as an experiment in permaculture – specifically for gauging the effects of integrating productive trees into farmland, with a view to improving overall productivity while enhancing wildlife and protecting soils. We are now enjoying the benefits from this resulting agroforestry. As our weather becomes increasingly unpredictable, with higher temperatures and more extreme rainfall we need to protect ourselves and trees are great at this and help us to be more resilient against climate change. But to be truly effective we must utilise the produce - and so our range of drinks was born.
