At BRAVE, we’re obsessed with pulses. Since we launched in 2017, our mission has been to deliver healthy and sustainable nutrition through our pulse snacks. In 2022, we launched our Super Hoops cereal, Europe’s first “no-cereal” cereal made from peas, chickpeas and cassava root! We face two major problems caused by our diets:

1. The obesity crisis: 64% of UK adults are overweight or obese
2. The climate crisis: food production is responsible for 33% of global greenhouse gas emissions

Our solution to both problems is the same. With 50% of the world's calories come from 3 carbon intensive crops: wheat, rice and corn, we need to include more diverse plants in our everyday diet. To combat this, we turn nature’s original superfoods (pulses) into ridiculously moreish snacks and cereals.
