Circular Food Co is the first upcycled food brand in Ireland. Founded by siblings Ruairi and Niamh, the duo have built a purpose led business aimed at reducing food waste at the manufacturing level. Circular Food Co upcycles leftover grain that was used to make craft beer in Ireland and create tasty, nutritious foods. To date the company has upcycled over 150 tonnes of spent grain from Irish breweries. The major collaborator in their work to date is Carlow Brewing, home of the famous O'Haras Irish beer brand. The mission of Circular Food Co. is simple: eliminate waste and elevate any byproducts or surplus to its highest value which is to feed ourselves.
