Description from food designer

Introducing The Wild Hare's Beef Bourguignon. We use beef from organic, regenerative farms, delivering delicious, nutritious meals, working in harmony with nature, helping to protect our natural landscape.

We craft our ingredients to help work with our food system and make planet friendly food more accessible. Our beef is raised on British, organic dense, carbon rich soils, ones which are helping regenerate not destroy our natural habitat. Each meal delivers a CO2e score and with our ongoing farm studies we will start to show the difference between traditional reared beef and regeneratively farmed beef. We will start to inform the consumer of how regenerative farms are reducing the impact on our soils and in fact building nutrient dense organic food and rebuilding biodiversity. Consumers can scan the QR code and learn about the meal's carbon footprint from farm to fork and get involved in the offsetting projects. All our meals are packed in 100% plastic free trays, film and sleeve.

Additional information from food designer

The Wild Hare delivers organic regeneratively farmed nutrient dense meal solutions.  We choose to use the hare as our logo as it is one of the UK's best indicator of biodiversity. We are tackling the convenience sector, as it is one of the villains in today's food system. Our aim is to help redesign this food system. It isn't broken but we feel it does need to love our planet a bit more!  Our supply chain helps rebalance ecosystems and protect insects including our vital pollinators. We deliver a brand that encourages participation as we evaluate, reduce and communicate our CO2e impact throughout the processing of our meals. We love transparency and deliver this through the QR code on pack. We have also set up The Wild Hare Foundation which is our learning zone. We want people to be able to get involved with our projects, we want to inspire young generations and teach people how important our food choices are for us and the planet.
