It's matured for 12 months, giving it a remarkably rounded and rugged flavour with a creamy texture that'll leave you wanting more! It won New Product of the Year at Speciality & Fine Food Fair in 2023 and Best Welsh Cheese at the Global Cheese Awards in 2023 and 2024. Our co-op of family-run, British farms are farming regeneratively by helping to support biodiversity, having their cows out grazing as much as the weather allows and looking after the soil, all of which we believe is locking carbon away. As part of First Milk, we are also B-Corp Certified and were awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development in 2023. We really do as we say!
We also have a Vintage Cheddar that is so aged and packed full of flavour that it is like inviting a distinguished cheese elder to the party. It's matured for around 18-20 months, giving it a slightly crumbly texture and a complex flavour that will leave a brilliant lingering aftertaste. Plus, the recipe for this cheese won Supreme Champion at the Global cheese awards in 2022, it has a Great Taste Award and has won Golds at the British Cheese Awards and Global Cheese Awards! And we’re not stopping there; in 2024, we’ve launched some exciting new regenerative products including a Red Leicester, Smoked Cheddar, Double Gloucester, butter and crackers. We want to make regenerative food accessible for all and, in turn, encourage and incentivise farmers to continue adopting more regenerative practices.
