Porcus Italian Meatballs are our homage to one of the most loved meal makers throughout the world.

Italy is the land of food, a place where religion, scenery and ingredients jostle for top spot in importance – who are we to question? At Porcus, we have kept our take on it simple and honest and the provenance and quality of our pork pays due testament to the flavours we associate with “Bel Paese”. The rich sauce contains local grown tomatoes and onions as well as ethically sourced organic fennel - these amazing meatballs can either be served with rice or pasta but can equally hold its own with a good lump of fresh crusty bread to mop up all the rich flavours. Great to hold in your larder for when you need that comfort boost or just when your kids and their chums land hungry on your doorstep after their adventures! None of the range of Porcus Heat & Eat – Meal in a Jar contain any UPFs, additives or preservatives outside of the natural scope of the ingredients involved in the recipe.

Porcus is about real food, made with real provenance by people who care for those whom they serve and especially the environment which we all live in. Our animals, and the farm all call home, are the center point of all we passionately believe in. Porcus pigs are rare breed - needing longer to grow, spending their whole lives in the fresh Pennine air on our Yorkshire pasture. As anything of value takes time we afford all our animals the highest welfare standards, time and kindness, and in return we get the most fabulous tasting meat. Our ethos is eat less and eat better, to give back and leave things better than when you arrived. We are firm advocates of regenerative agriculture and symbiotic farming, constantly developing ways to improve and restore the soil, the core to all our farm activities, as well as good practice and knowledge to inspire those who follow in our footsteps. We don’t just dream of a better world but actively shape it and share a brighter future for all.
